Each controller can support up to maximum of 31 TautWire Sensors that can be connected either in parallel or series. All the secan be divided into a maximum of 4 sectors for the ease of control and monitoring. The sensors can go up to a maximum distance 300m from the controller. As the TautWire Sensors is a standalone system by itself, the fence need not to be electrified.

COMMUNICATIONS WIRING WITH TAUTWIRE SENSORS
TautWire (TW) Sensors have a three wire, plus shield, interface. The sensors can be wired in a daisy chain, star, or a combination of topologies. All TW are effectively wired in parallel. Each TW sensor is assigned a unique address by the installer.
